Trevor Klein is an associate with the Denver law firm of Trout Raley. Since joining Trout Raley, Trevor has practiced water and environmental law, among others, and has represented several public and private clients. Trevor has assisted in matters before Colorado water and appellate courts as well as in proceedings before Colorado administrative bodies. Prior to joining Trout Raley, Trevor served as a law clerk to Chief Justice Monica M. Márquez of the Colorado Supreme Court. During law school, Trevor served as Managing Editor of the University of Denver Water Law Review and interned for the Natural Resources and Environment Section of the Colorado Attorney General’s Office, Environmental Defense Fund, Boulder law firm Berg Hill Greenleaf Ruscitti LLP, United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit Judge Allison H. Eid, and Colorado Court of Appeals Judge Rebecca R. Freyre. Prior to his legal career, Trevor worked as a water quality scientist and regulator in the Safe Drinking Water and Clean Water programs of the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment’s Water Quality Control Division. He has also worked as a hydrogeologist and watershed coordinator on contaminated sites and abandoned mine lands.
